Introduction

The WiZZ.travel directory is a searchable directory of tourism and travel related websites.
Our aim is make the directory as useful as possible for tourists and travelers.
The WiZZ.travel directory is NOT an automated directory: all submissions are reviewed individually and not all sites are accepted.
We want visitors to trust they will find quality information in the directory and therefore ask you to review the information below before submitting a website for review.
If you understand and follow our guidelines below, you minimize the chance your site might be rejected.

Step 1: Does your website meet the WiZZ.travel criteria?

Your website should be aimed at tourists or travelers, or must provide other information that is useful for somebody planning a trip, holiday or vacation.
Only one listing is allowed per website. If you want to submit more than one URL, we suggest you choose our Priority Review. You then will be able to submit up to six URL's: view an example here.
Your website must:
- have an English version, which is easily accessible from the homepage, or you can submit the URL of the English section of your site.
- provide substantively unique content (for example do not submit mirror or affiliate only sites).
- clearly define its purpose, products and/ or services.
- have a clear method of online contact.
Your website must NOT:
- have any areas under construction.
- have a limited lifespan.
- be mainly created to maximise ad and/or affiliate revenue without providing anything unique to visitors

Step 2: Choose the most relevant category for your website.

The WiZZ.travel directory is organized firstly by destination (continents, countries, regions, areas).
Within every destination you might find some subcategories, further organizing the listings by subject (for example accommodation, attractions etc).
Identify the most relevant destination and/ or subcategory for your website:
for example if you have a car rental business with offices all over Australia you would choose Australia :: Transport, and if you have a local car rental business in Sydney you would choose Australia :: Sydney :: Transport .
Because the world is a big place and the directory is growing all the time, there will be many occasions that your website is the first one for your destination and/ or subcategory.
In that case, you can suggest your site on our general submission page.

Step 3: Suggest your website for review.

Once you have chosen your most relevant destination and/ or subcategory, navigate there and click Suggest Your Site.
You will be able to choose a Priority Review or a Standard Review.
When you choose a free Standard Review:
- We will review your request and your website in the same order as the requests have been received, and when time permits.
When you choose a Priority Review:
- We will review your request and your website usually within 2 business days.
- You will be able to submit five additional URL's on the same domain.
- In addition to the standard description of 500 characters, you will be able to submit 2000 characters of additional information about your website which will be available when visitors follow your Mini-site link.
- You can add a RSS feed which will keep your WiZZ.travel Mini-site always up to date with the latest news and links to your site.
- Your website, if accepted in the directory, will be shown above all Standard listings for a period of one year, in both search results and within the destination and subcategories listings; and
- Your website will be featured on the WiZZ.travel homepage on a rotational basis for a period of one year.
- After one year your listing will revert to a Standard listing, but you can renew your Priority listing for a further year, subject to the normal review process.
Follow the instructions on the submission form carefully.
Take your time to submit a well written description:
- Your listing will appear more professional, and
- People following your link will find what they expect.

When you choose a Priority Review, your fee will also support the WiZZ.to Travel Guide project.

Review by WiZZ.travel.

As soon we finish the review of your website, you will receive an email advising you of the location of your website within the WiZZ.travel directory, together with any comments we might have about your site.
Sometimes we reject a request for a listing.
It does not mean your website is of a poor standard or low quality, it just means that in its current presentation we do not see any benefit for visitors to the WiZZ.travel directory, so don't take it personally.
We will give you our reasons why we decide to decline your request, and you can ask us to reconsider by replying to the original rejection email within 30 days. Please make sure that when you reply, you include the complete original email we sent you.
Where it is clear that submissions have been made without any reference to our guidelines, or have been made by auto-submission software, the requests will be simply deleted without any acknowledgement.

Updating or upgrading your listing on WiZZ.travel.

You can update your listing if you need to make any changes to the information you provided earlier.
Navigate to your listing, and click Update.
If you currently have a Standard listing, you can upgrade to a Priority listing using the Update link.
If you already have a Priority listing and choose a Priority Review to update any of your information, then a further year will be added to the current expiry date.
