Portland is considered the largest city in Oregon.

You will find many parks in Portland with rich green colors, of plants, shrubs, roses and trees. Enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Hood and the Willamette River, and of trees and roses that give the city beautiful seasonal color.
The architecture of the city has both old and new.
Portland has many interesting neighborhoods to explore: Downtown, South Waterfront, Old Town, Chinatown, Pearl District, Jamison Square, Tanner Springs Park, Northwest District, West Hills, Hawthorne Blvd, Hollywood, Hollywood Theatre, Alberta Street, and Last Thursday.
Getting around in Portland

Portland is a great city for walking. The City of Portland Office of Transportation offers free, highly detailed walking maps that may be ordered online.
Portland is also an excellent city for bicycling, with lots of streets designed to be mostly used by bikes.
The bike streets are mostly signed with green "Bike Route" signs, and many streets have striped bike lanes. Maps of bike trails can be obtained from the Metropolitan Government website.
Bikes can also be taken on buses, or you can rent a bicycle.
Portland's locals and visitors enjoy the Free Rail Zone, which cover most of downtown, where rides on the MAX and Portland Streetcar are free as long as you board and leave within the zone.
